About the Project

ProSocioTech is a project developing Social Innovation Theory and social technologies that can be applied to many levels and types of social structures. 

Social Innovation Theory is a multidisciplinary approach to understanding the forces that drive human behavior including biology, psychology, philosophy, environmental engineering, medicine and more, in order to create transitional models to better families, work environments, living arrangements, creative societies, sustainable industries and facilitate implementation of social technology for the common good.

The spontaneous nature of our social evolution produces many shortcomings that constantly agglomerate and create conflicts and contradictions. With the development of global connectivity, they started to merge into clusters at an increasingly rapid pace, reverberating through social structures with unpredictable consequences, yet to reveal themselves. In order to engage these challenges, it seems that we require a systems approach that will depart us from the habit of narrow views and social patchwork.

Today we have accumulated vast amounts of knowledge and experience that make the creation and transfer of Social Technologies possible, yet many of the greatest solutions are either lost in history or overlooked. ProSocioTech collects and adapts relevant solutions as well as develops multilevel tailored approaches to social problems.

We believe that the science of social innovation for the common good is a frontier that will shape our future for many years to come.
